Terms of Service
Effective date: March 1, 2026 · Last updated: March 10, 2026
Scope and Purpose
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Quartile website and the accounting services described on it. By visiting this site or engaging Quartile for services, you agree to the terms set out below.
These terms apply to informational use of the website as well as to any formal service engagement entered into with Quartile. For service-specific terms, a separate engagement agreement will be provided before work begins.
1. Service Usage Terms
- 1.1
Acceptable use. You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not use it to transmit harmful content, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the site's operation.
- 1.2
Permitted uses. Viewing service information, submitting inquiries via the contact form, and sharing links to public pages on this site.
- 1.3
Prohibited uses. Scraping, automated data extraction, impersonation, or any use that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
- 1.4
Fair usage. Quartile reserves the right to restrict access to users who place unusual or excessive load on the site or who use it in a manner inconsistent with its purpose.
- 1.5
No professional relationship. Browsing this site does not establish a client relationship. A formal engagement only begins upon a signed agreement and receipt of payment.
2. Account and Access
- 2.1
No registration required. This website does not require account creation. Contact form submissions are handled directly without creating a persistent account.
- 2.2
Accuracy of information. When submitting a contact form or entering into an engagement, you agree to provide accurate and current information.
- 2.3
Client portal access. If client-specific access is granted as part of a service engagement, you are responsible for maintaining the security of any credentials provided.
- 2.4
Termination. Quartile may suspend or terminate access to services for material breach of these terms, non-payment, or conduct that makes continued engagement impractical.
3. Service Availability
- 3.1
Website availability. We aim to keep this site accessible at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance windows, hosting issues, or circumstances beyond our control may affect availability.
- 3.2
Service modifications. Quartile may modify, add, or remove service offerings at any time. Current clients will be given reasonable notice of material changes to services in their active engagement.
- 3.3
Geographic availability. Quartile operates remotely and serves clients globally. No geographic restrictions apply to inquiries, though specific regulatory or compliance considerations may affect formal engagements.
4. Intellectual Property
- 4.1
Site content ownership. All content on this website — text, design, structure, and imagery — is the property of Quartile and may not be reproduced without written permission.
- 4.2
Client-provided materials. Documents, records, and data you share with Quartile for accounting purposes remain your property. Quartile uses these solely to deliver the agreed services.
- 4.3
Deliverables. Work product prepared by Quartile as part of a formal engagement (financial statements, reports, adjustments) is licensed to you for use in your business upon payment in full.
